Cool picture the wife snapped as we were coming up from Gonzales to Smithville, Texas last weekend.

My best riding buddy lives in Gonzales and I've visited there many times That kinda looks like the road he lives on FM 532. What road is that if you remember?

No Oscars Night for me.

Finishing couple Dash Fill Panels for my 2014.
Looks good.
The 14 model has the throttle cable bracket in a little better location than the 12-13 which allows you to have more real estate than the previous model infill area also.

Hit by a car? Replaced?

Where is that wrecked Tenere? Lol
You'd think it'd show up somewhere getting parted out.

Glad you're ok. That is actually the best news.
My mate was riding my Tenere and was hit by a car turning into his path. He went over the bonnet and tumbled a few times. A few niggling injuries remain.

The bike was a write-off. No idea where it ended up, but I had the opportunity to strip all of my uninsured extras before it went.

Most will be bolted onto the used 2010 I bought as a replacement.

Rode it for the first time! Small window in the Alberta winter, but I got out for an hour or so. Mostly around town with a quick highway jaunt. Pretty happy.

Here is the return pic. I guess you can tell why my ride was short.

They had that model at the bike show here on the west coast recently. The blue is quite bright and looks good on the fork legs, wheels and trim on the seat. If your going to ride around in that white stuff you might want to try some of this :-\ http://learchem.com/industry/motorcycle-8.html Enjoy the new ride.

Very cool! Fortunately, I don't think Alberta uses much road salt, at least they didn't when I lived in Edmonton in the early '80s. That should help prevent premature corrosion as a result of your winter riding. This is definitely not the case in southwestern Ontario! :(

Cheers,

How do the TKC70's look/feel in person?

Initial impressions are they aren't as aggressive as I had imagined, look more street biased than advertised 60/40. LOTS of rubber on the rear tire, just over 12/32" according to my tread depth gauge, typical stiff sidewalls and no balance dot.

I won't spoon them on for another month or two. Bought them specifically for a trip to Bella Coola and points north this summer!

I bought my first sat nave for the S10, a Garmin Zumo 390 with lifetime maps. This should help with my legendary navigational prowess....

Bought an FJR radiator fan, ripped out it's precious motor, and replaced my burnt out motor for it. My bike lives again! BWAHAHAHHAA!

Hmmm, good point. If I ever get a weekend off work and I'm at home (Iceland last weekend) I'll have to drag the old girl out and take some pic's. I can smell summer on the horizon ::008::
