Had to R&R the battery. Was able to remove the stock battery without pulling the Givi bars, but the new one wouldn't fit, so off came the bars only to find out that Batteries Plus had the wrong stock number for the Tenere...thankfully, I was still in the parking lot, so I walked back into the store to get the correct one...and of course it was more expensive! At least I don't have to bump start the bike anymore...I'm in the right physical shape to keep doing that!

Nothing! Front wheel bearings won't be here for a few days.
I can't go 4 or 5 days driving my truck. Ok, I won't go 4 or 5 days driving a truck.

So, cleverly disguised as thing we bought for the wives, me & my brother surprised them. (we live in the woods adjacent to each other)

They thought we went to the dealer to pick up my wheel. :)

Got me a bike to ride this week!

Not like the scooters I've ridden before. (Italy)
Over here, I guess we actually need our scooters to go 100mph and carry 438lbs? Lol
The thing is hilarious.

Big Blocks might be a waste. 0 ground clearance. :)
(The Grizzly, on the other hand....plenty!)

I'm kind of committed to putting miles on it. 4 years of YES and a 3 year service contract. Total waste of $ if it's just a Saturday afternoon cruiser. And this ain't no Tenere. I CAN break it. I'm convinced!

They laughed at me for buying a scooter to ride for 5 days. I'm gonna turn that laugh on them. They should know better. They really should. They've watched for 3 years. Lol

someone has a problem ::008:: ::008:: I am waiting on some parts myself, so I am down and out. What do I do when this happens? pull apart 3 motorcycle engines(RS125, KX85, KTM LC4), pull a rack a carbs out of another to do some tuning (CB750F), and put the headlight harness, spark plugs, air filter, and TB sync extension hoses on the XT12z.

As for the headlight harness... after seeing 25k miles on this one with some early problems addressed, I will say that there are two groups of people: Those that have had the harness fail, and those that will. There are some real clear problems with the original harness, that is for sure.

That's simply awesome - cant wait to hear your impressions of the scoot!

No, seriously, when I showed this pic to Tracie, she said, "How much are those?"

I NEED a positive review - from your wife - would be even better...just sayin'...

First ride of the season today! It felt great to be back in the saddle. I was out for a couple of hours, rode down to Port Burwell, on the northern shore of Lake Erie. After a very cold winter, there is still a lot of ice on the lake, which you can see in my pics. The temperature dropped down to about 6 C. as I got close to the water. It was back up to 11 by the time I got back to London. I feel better now after my two-wheeled fix.

Made a list minute decision to do a 250 mile organized ride with one of the local clubs. Made it to the registration with one minute to spare. Good ride, a bit wet at times.

They change the route every year, and when I go I always pick up a few new roads, this year was no exception. They give you turn by turn directions, so I got to test out the map pocket on my newly installed Wolfman BlackHawk tail bag. Works great, really like the bag, fit's great.
