Are you going to create a thread for this project? I have all the parts except the switches and really need to add the lights or sell them.djm_ct said:Wired my Rigid light bar into the hign beam switch using a relay, It is now only available when hign beams are on, but can be overridden by the switch that came with the light bar.
My next task will be to order a PC8 and a handlebar switch from Eastern Beaver. Will then wire the PC8 into the existing auxiliarry light harness on the S10 and wire the light bar into the PC8 instead of direct to the battery.
At the same time, I will replace the Rigid switch, which I have zip tied to the mirror mount, with the handlebar switch, which looks and operates very much like the high beam switch. That switch will fix very nicely right between the high beam switch and the mirrow mount, so the switches will be very intuitive to use.
I can create a post, either in an existing thread or a new one, with more details about the job.tomatocity said:Are you going to create a thread for this project? I have all the parts except the switches and really need to add the lights or sell them.

Nuvi 200 off ebay 25 bucks ,has the newest maps to. Not waterproof but for 25 bucks i'll take my chances with a ziploc bag. And as you can see ram makes a cradle for it. :Don in Lodi said:Where do you find a Garmin for $25?
Did you just 'u-bolt' the cradle to the handlebar? Or is it a ball mount somehow? I have a Nuvi 300 with a cradle and am trying to figure out where and how to mount her. Want it up on the windscreen, but the Wunderlich Tubinator doesn't have the crossbar that the other screen adjuster has.Dcc46 said:Nuvi 200 off ebay 25 bucks ,has the newest maps to.
