Similar experience. Except the POURDOWN was as I entered Winter Park Colorado.

Gorgeous place.

After 6 nights in a tent, I splurged and got a room. :)
The wives were sitting at a table in the local Subway.
I finished my sandwich and stepped out for a smoke.
Saw the "vacancy" sign next door.

Came back in the Subway and threw the room key on the table.

I'm their hero tonight!
Hot showers, they don't have to cook, and they have a make-up mirror.

Life is good. The adventure continues. :)

I've seen other versions on this forum, but I finally got around to completing my dash shelf today. If you want the details...

Switches:
Red - Heated grips
Blue - Radiator fan on
Green - CJM
Yellow - ABS disable

Datel voltmeter, HealTech GIPRO gear indicator, & 3 powerlets (replaced the OEM cig lighter plug).

What is the reason for the radiator fan switch?

You can't put that out in the open...and if he told you where it's located, he'd have to...well, I think you know the rest.

Couple of days a go installed the Altrider Luggae Rack, a Storm storage bag that fits in it, and the rear seat. The Storm bag currently holds a Slime Pump and a MP tool kit.

Also have a DS storage box that I might be replacing with a Pelican case. Reason being is the DS will not hold my First Aid kit and the Pelican will hold the first aid kit and other stuff.

Still looking for Yamaha OEM Pannier Parts for my broken pannier.

Decided to take a mental health day off today. I had purchased a Penske Rear Shock from a forum member a couple of weeks back. Installed and got the sag set today. Will fine tune the rest of the settings at a later time. Overall I can not believe the change in the bike that this has made.

Interesting to see the reservoir mounted to the top of the subframe. It wasn't the intent, but it looks like it works out ok.
