Put on a SW Moto rack and givi box. Now my SO has something to lean against. Removed some of the interesting electrical connections from the previous owner. Next step is to put in a fuse box with relay. And to move my aux lights over from my Tiger.

UPS did not show up with the mini farkles yesterday so I was stuck with riding errands. I needed to go twelve miles round trip to buy an electrical switch for the RV. 5 hours later I made it home with the switch. This motorcycle is just plain bad ... it commands me to go sightseeing and touring around and thwarts my diligent intentions to get something other than riding around done. Between that, and keeping up with this forum I'm gonna have to give up a little more sleep Out of desperate need to do some kind of mod ... anything ...

No, no, no... the switch for the Rv was just damned hard to find! Being on the bike... saved fuel! Yes, saved fuel while out searching for that pesky switch.

I added a Powerlet to the left side of the dash, a coax cord for my heated gear and wired it all in with an Eastern Beaver three circuit solution.

Hit a Big Ladder this morning !!

Waz commutin in the dark to work in Sac on WB Hwy 50 at the top of EDH grade and struck a large aluminum ladder at 75 +. The bike left the ground shortly but never missed a beat .. I gassed off on my way down the hill without even slowing down.. Cars were all around so if I had gone down it would have been ugly for all to clean up. These Freakin Super Teneres are unflappable !! I on the other hand, requiered a good single malt upon arriving home tonight

WOW!! Glad you are ok. The two scariest words to me since I started motorcycle riding just 18 months ago----"Aluminum Ladder". They seem to be everywhere on the AZ freeways.

Glad it was a minor issue for the bike, even if it did cause a little internal discomfort.

I pulled off my Touratech topcase and swapped out the base plate for my AltRider rack. Fiddled with the Penske shock a bit. I never have gotten it setup perfectly, but I haven't put much effort into it either. Basically getting ready for my wet winter commuting season.

Hey Tomato.. I really enjoyed meeting everyone at Mels in Jackson.. I have made a few comments since then.. Just being low key.. I'm interested in meetin up again with all around the area and go for a ride now that I know how to launch off ladders !! LOL

Rode to Shingle Springs to pick up a Eibach spring, 0800.225.0850, for the rear shock. Rode South Shingle Springs Road to Latrobe. Always fun.

Indeed a good tip, and better for the screws too I think. I turned the horizontal ones a little bit and the cross got a bit more round. Screws made in China I guess

Actually, there are not any Phillips head screws on a Japanese bike. They are JIS- Japanese industrial standard. This why your screwdrivers want to screw up the fasteners. Order a set of JIS screwdrivers and be amazed.
