Hey, how did you get my KLR tire? :)

I wore out a few of those Kendas on my KLR. Cheap too. That front wheel rocks!

I know the answer has nothing to do with tire pressure but I'm hoping I can extend the life a little.
Well it has a lot to do with tire pressure, you can see the tire is flattened with strong endges, so it will be an high pressure rider, lower PSI gets you more "sideburns", but if you would run higher PSI *and* power up inclinated you could run even longer with your tire, lots of rubber to be burnt on that tire :)

But a softer tire gives more grip in less than optimal circumstances...

Installed super sport (clutch mod) and ABS-off switches. Best $25 mod I have ever done.
Whenever did you trigger the ABS offroad then on the frontwheel?

The back i easy to trigger downhill, but it doesn't do anything usefull locked but pulling you down, o why did you need it may i ask ?

11,000 miles on a tire. Wow. I can only get 6000 mi on anything. You must be very pokey. Can't resist breaking her loose on the gravel especially in TC2 cause you can't really get into too much trouble. ::26::

And you must be very, very slow. 6k and a tire is done? No control and a slow rider. It's all in the wrist. ::013:: You have fun, and that's all good, but a spinning tire doesn't have traction.

::015:: That's exactly where that tire came from. It's a used KLR tire i had laying around with a a few miles left in it.

Hey, somebody done stole one of your front rotors!
That will be fixed shortly. EricV has shipped my dual front line kit and should have it any day now. I couldn't wait to fit up the 21"er and take her for a spin.

Passed 30000 km today!

The bike runs better and better, my vibe-problem is almost solved.
Only problem up to now is 3 front fork seals (leaking from no reason) and an oil leak from the
right engine case (doesn't go away even from changing gasket..). Both these are
warranty issues, so Im not to worried.

Best bike ever.

Fitted up my new madstad bracket, headlight guard, top box and side case brackets. Found out my T50 torx is not a security Torx. Probably should have checked that before starting! Quick trip to buy a T50 and some more loctite in the morning and I'm done. Still need to fit up the bash plate, but that can wait till my crash bars arrive.

Tuesday I ordered a new 850 rear shock spring from Ground Control Suspension and a rear shock spring spacer from Jaxon. Received the rear shock spring spacer today and probably Monday for the new rear shock spring.

Rode a ferry:

Passed 15,000 miles (in 6 and a half months!):

And got a huge nail in the rear tire:

Ugh on that nail ... yay on the ferry. I gotta try that before the snow flies ;) (not the nail part).
Rode about 125 miles in a loop to work, out to make an appointment and back home. Had a pretty big payload strapped to the stock tail rack, but it worked fine. The last twelve miles took well over an hour in brutal stop-then-3mph-then-stop-then-10mph-then-stop .. traffic. I think that's more work than being out in the dirt. Hoping the Farkle Fairy arrives tomorrow with some of the small toys :p

No pictures taken, but a couple of us on Super Teneres showed up at the local BMW dealer's Open House event today. The S10's were well received by the BWM faithful. The bikes included a Raven with Jesse's luggage and two Blues, one with factory bags and one with Caribou luggage.

I'm a little partial, but if I were to call it, the Blue Teneres were more popular with the crowd.
