Hope there's no spare parts. ;)
I'm envious, because if I did this to my Tenere, I would never get it back together
Parts....hmmm..I spoke with my local dealership yesterday about an air filter.
Yamaha in Toronto are shut down, so not parts available.
I called two other dealerships and no answer. My air filter is not critical, however I thought I should change it after a season and 22,000 km 16,000 miles of riding. Good luck with sourcing parts.

I ordered some parts off of Partzilla a couple of days ago. Maybe they can help you out.

elricfate that is a great pic.

Thanks man, I swiped it off someone's neighborhood facebook post. There were a lot of kids and adults out for the ride around the neighborhood. Apparently my flag "lended legitimacy" to what we were doing.

You are a proud nation, and you have my greatest respect. I am a Canadian

We're all one nation right now, man. Plus you Canadians are a pretty great top-floor renter. Not a lot of noise, share you beer and syrup, pretty solid neighbors.

About a month or so ago, I took the plunge and ordered a full Racetech suspension. New front fork internals springs, valves, etc... and a rear G3 shock from them. I recently got the front forks back from a local shop and spent this past weekend putting her all back together. I had taken the front wheel off (obv. because I brought the forks in) and the rear wheel off in anticipation.

What I didn't expect was the amount of extra stuff I would need to remove to get the rear shock in the bike. Once I put the front back together, I had to remove my skid plate, remove the exhaust from the header (could leave the slip-on on), to get a linkage knuckle out from under the bike. That's where the rear shock and dog bones all come together. Once that knuckle was out, rear shock slid in without issue and I could put 'er all back together.

Road the bike today into work. It was a brisk 32F out but it still felt amazing and great to be back in two wheels.

After a days ride I took it to the car wash  sprayed the wheels and tires off good. Rain tomorrow so looks like a good time to mount tires. Off with the TKC's and on with A3's. :D
