Took the Wife out for 40 miles of easy dirt to break in her new MotoZ Tractionator GPS tires.

Yesterday installed 2" RoxRisers I had from another bike. Their black, but I don't care. Fit was easy. Cables are long enough once the line stays were removed. I'll be watching that for issues. Amazing what 2 inches can do. ::014::
That's what she said? ::025::
Also found the accessory outlet not working. Probably a fuse. Hopefully.

Gave her my first power wash. Layered with gravel road slop the last couple times out. Figured I shouldn't leave it on all winter. Planning to get her in for the valve check sometime soon.

Removed the stock shock to confirm some measurements before sourcing a new spring. Had to make a new adapter for my spring compressor. Not pretty but it works.
Free length=215mm, installed length with 0 additional preload =210mm, so stock it comes with 5mm installed preload. Funny since everything I have found online says 203mm installed length.
Going to remove and grease the swingarm bearings/driveshaft splines hopefully Friday.

Removed the driveshaft and swingarm for regreasing. There was some grease on the bearings and shaft, but not much. Greased everything and reinstalled without much issue.
Had to drop the exhaust to remove the front link bolt. Flipped the bolt so next time exhaust removal will not be needed.

With the exception of the lower shock mount they are all double bearings. So as long as you took your time and placed the zerk between the bearings there should be no reason you couldn't.
Just take your time and check you zerk placement to be sure there will be no contact with frame etc on full suspension travel and you should be good to go. Placement would be critical on the front lower link mount.
You would still need to take it apart to properly grease the lower shock mount.

In my case the bike will be 80-90%street use so probably not worth the effort for me. I also like to spin the bearings with my fingers to make sure it is in good condition. It's a long winter up here so a couple of hours maintenance every winter is not an issue for me.

Fork oil change today.
Bike only has 6000km on it and the oil was much better than I expected it to be.
Refilled with Maxima 125/150 (7 wt). I did notice the rebound adjuster doesn't make much difference from fully closed to open. Probably try 10 wt next time depending how this feels in the spring.

Only steering stem bearings and possibly swapping the cam chain adjuster to an APE manual version left to do this winter. Hope to have my new rear spring shortly and get the suspension finished before it gets too cold in the garage.

Given our warm December weather in northern Illinois, I took it out to turn over 30,000 miles. Rode to Starved Rock yesterday, and then found some back road gravel today to go over 30k. This is @ McQueen road. Seemed appropriate.
