Rode the Tenere into the wilds of central London today .... that's insane. 16 deg C so nice and warm. It then heated right up when I got caught up in that feckin hostage crisis ... not me per se .... the traffic got snarled up and grid locked. Ended up riding the wrong way down one way streets and generally ripping up the urban environment. Just what the bike was made for.

Yeah, the S10 is a pretty decent urban assault vehicle. I'll have to say my old 300cc motard was the best though.

4 degree C and rain for 180km. The wind was gusting around 50 to 60 km. Lucky for me it was a tail wind the whole way, and my battery operated jacket was nice and warm. The worse part was the last 800 meters on gravel clay mix road, not fun hit the ditch twice, stayed in the ditch. More traction.

I hope it handles better in mud with a 50/50 tire. The stock ones are...slick.

On Thursday it was hovering around zero celsius with high winds - and I got to experience ice for the first time. With the wind as well, we were basically a sail being pushed around on the road. A little disconcerting, but kept it upright throughout the 300m stretch.

Can't wait for summer - we had 10 cms of snow yesterday, although it has all melted already.

Does it seem like the taller Tenere gets pushed around more by sidewinds than a cruiser does?
Coming from a HD Road Glide i have noticed you do catch the side winds allot more. Still have the bike but haven't ridden the thing since last year. (BORING)

6 degrees Celsius this morning on the way in, but up to about 23 Celcius on the way home. I had my Aerostich liner in this morning, but not on the ride home!
