What tyres does your S10 wear?

If you are riding PURELY off road and want "aggressive" I would go with a motocross rear for an off road bike. The knobs are much deeper than any adventure type tire. Any 110/90/19 should work. You might even be able to find one that is DOT rated, but it doesn't sound like you need that.
I did that once on my KTM Adventure 950....the rear tire lasted about 70 miles...

:)

Shinko 804 does come in 110/80 but I would prefer something more agressive I think. I need to check if there is a close size for the Shinko 504 that would work in the front.

It is not a "front" tire, it is a REAR tire that you would put on the front of your bike. Shinko 504/505 (110/90/19) You could even go with a 100/90/19 if you wanted it a little lower.

Thanks - I think I may have found another interesting option - Motoz Tractionator Rally

They have the correct size and it does say Front. $157 so good price point.

That does look like a good choice but it's twice as expensive as the Shinko option ;)

I've put a couple of hundred miles on the Conti TA front. Actually remembered to reset the mileage monitor in "maintenance" so I can get a solid mileage reading on it. I was surprised that I had a learning curve on it. I don't know if the Conti is that different, or the Dunlop was that worn. But I wasn't digging the Conti until this week. It just didn't feel stable. Almost like there was slippage. This week though, they feel much better. Almost like a different tire. (yes, I am keeping track of my pressure. I'm OCD about that) So, I think it will be a keeper depending on the mileage it gets. When the Rear Michelin wears out, it will get replaced with the Conti TA.
