My bad. I actually loved my BMW and sold it only because I needed the cash. Bad BMW dealer network and experience led me to the Yamaha

Well, I've got my "permanent" stash of items now which was what I was really asking in the OP - the things you carry all time that are permanently stashed on the bike. As I see/think of things that I can fit, I'll prolly add them. Of course on my person I carry a cell phone, road ID bracelet, etc and I might even be packing heat

I run a tail box most of the time (Seahorse case on a Caribou rack and mount), so I keep my Aerostich tire repair kit, rain pants, an extra pair of gloves, allen-key tool, various chargers for my electronics (iPhone, Sena, etc) and some extra tie-down straps in there all the time. I like the idea of all the bike's and farkles' service manuals on a thumb drive; I might have to do that and keep it under the seat.
