The big downside he didn't mention about Guzzi ownership is the general crappiness of the dedicated Guzzi forums. Adv Rider is about the only reasonable sanctuary for owners of these machines.

Why do you think there are so many former S10 owners still here. I can tell you I've never found any KTM dedicated forum that can match the intangible benefits of membership of this board.

Agreed.
Certain bikes draw a special group or following and create a camaraderie that goes beyond the bike. Look at ST-Owners forum for example.

In contrast I have to admit there have been a couple of forums that I've distanced myself from as thoroughly as possible.

Back to the V100 Mandello.... deposit sent.

So I own 2 KTMs and hopefully soon to be a Guzzi owner. The forums I visit on a regular basis are, in no particular order are the S10 forum, the FJR forum, and the ST-Owners forum. Yep it's special when the forum outlasts bike ownership.

Dropped off the 890 to have the front brake reservoir replaced under warranty. Having a dirty bike exposed there was leakage there. Service manager said to have it replaced. Sure, great. I pulled away on a 790 and returned it when the rear brake exploded. So went back and took the familiar V85TT. Nothing else interested me, so it was an easy choice. Such a nice riding bike. I understand why CW is so fond of it. Needs some better wind protection, but that is an enjoyable bike to ride.
