The single fact that they are a tubed rim is enough for me not to be interested. These bikes are too fat and heavy to even consider dirt bike category and rigors.
For what it is intended to do its a step backwards, tube tires on tarmac run hotter, wear quicker, they plainly suck.

Suzuki lost me when they put that goofy front mounted windshield adjuster on the Strom 1050! Get off the bike to adj shield for your (riding) position??
& what was the deal deleting content on base models compared to the 2018-19 1000s? Cruise only avail with spoked rims?
Seems kinda counter to the intended purpose of each model 1000=
Base= 17/19" mag wheels= street/tour
