No harm no foul.
This thread was fun!
And it's very revealing to hear how each fella felt about it, and their predictions of the future.

But it does kinda prove there is only 1 Tenerista that is never wrong.
(He should show up around here soon enough to acknowledge his continued reign)

I thought it was entertaining, like D said what else do we have to talk about.
I need a new rear tire, I'm trying a new seat, my shock man is smarter than yours :p
It's all fun and games nobody's hurt.

We have a place for that, it's called The Lounge. I know, silly of me to think that we could have an exchange of actual information on a forum. Instead of posting a lack of information with a subject title designed to stir things up and get people's attention.

Keep having fun!

Whew! I' still spending my free cash hoarding ammo for the zombie apocalypse. Didn't want to have to stock up on Tenere parts too.

As a very famous and scholarly man once said, Eric... Screw you! ::024::

(Decorum prevents me from actually quoting him exactly)

Like I said, where are those ADVrider emoticons when you need 'em. You don't like what I post, Eric, don't read it, but save your lame attempt at sage advice for somebody else who might actually give a sh*t. This thread has been a lot more enlightening, for just about everybody involved, than anything I've seen your tired, ironbutt a** posting about anywhere in memory. We found out how a lot of people felt about the S-10 here, as well as what they think the future might hold, and from what I can see a lot of people had a lot of fun doing it (apparently everybody but you and Simmons1, anyway).

Of course, fun is something you never seem to enjoy, Eric... but I guess riding around on car tires for days on end will do that to ya'! ::025::

Like it or not, you don't run this place, so why don't you take your own advice and save your commentary for "The Lounge".

Yukon Yamaha spoke to their regional rep today, in my presence. We noticed that the Tenere isn't even listed on the Yamaha Canada website at this time. The rep said to pay no attention to that, there was more to come. He would/could neither confirm nor deny any future status of the Tenere, but we got the impression it was not going anywhere.

How's that for clear, concise, thoroughly detailed and accurate information ??? ::025:: ::025:: We'll do like everyone else and wait and see, I guess. There you go. R ::001::

Here's what Dennis McNeal from Yamaha USA said earlier today, Rem - http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=9327.msg156016#msg156016

Yes, I read that, thanks. Keeping in mind that Yamaha USA and Yamaha Canada are two entirely different entities, I suspect we'll see the same scenario in Canada. R

Wasn't sure if you had seen it, Rem... But doesn't Canada pretty much handle any model the USA gets, yet Canada often gets Euro models we don't down here?

Thanks!

That is pretty much the case, yes. But the business model is such that they can and do make totally different decisions regarding products in the respective countries. R.

I'm not really sure why, but in my household, when "dad" gets it wrong, and I mean something as trivial as what time the game is going to start, my entire family dances and cheers and high fives each other. Even the wife delights in it.

So, I kinda know how it feels. And, I'm glad I can bring them so much joy.

Happy Happy Happy? Lol

I thought the thread was fun, and educational in some ways.

Why does everybody get so uptight about a little bickering?

Gave me a nice respite from the Ohlins vs Penske thread - headed back there now, because I STILL haven't decided...

Damnit! I spent the weekend washing my S10 for the first time, coating it in cosmoline, wrapping it in wax paper and burying it in the backyard.

I had plans of auctioning it off for 1 MILLION dollars!!!!!

Well speaking for myself, I think Eric was on target with his comment - I believe you did kind of jump the gun on it and got some folks worked up with that headline. I know it caused me some concern. But there's no need to respond with a personal attack on him. That's actually what takes the fun out of these threads.
