Has anyone had their S10 fine tuned on a dyno and got good results without adding any extras such as a power cmdr or ECU remap, is it worth doing, can the std be improved this way?

Probably with a throttle body sync, maybe changing the CO on the dash, and clutch jumper... This is "better" than stock off the show room floor... The readability is better.....
Tuning without adding bits....

So if you don't change the ECU, what is there to tune? You can't change jets like on a carb and you can't change the timing or throttle response so if you don't change the ECU map you are pretty limited in what you could do. Just sync and CO settings like mentioned above.
Or did you mean tuning the ECU with a dyno and some kind of ECU tuning gear like Flash Tune?
No! The fuelling on the UK bikes is pretty near perfect, unlike the US bikes. Much of the CO2 and air screw adjustments discussed here are attempts to improve the emissions based poor fuelling on US models. The injector synchronisation is a straightforward service job. Without accessing the ECU to change settings, there is nothing simple that can be improved during a dyno run so it would be a waste of money. If you want a novelty to play with, try the clutch switch mod to access a different throttle map (no more power - just different response). Otherwise, just ride it.
