Enjoy watching the tour every yr, noticed several times over the last few days that there is a Super Tenere as one of the lead motorcycles, with flashing blue lights it’s just ahead of the official red car that leads all the riders. Looks to be a matt black model. Imagine being that lucky guy, and, no doubt he’s getting paid because he’s at work. ;o)

So true. Have you seen the video of the drone flying through the fireworks on the 4th? Very Cool. Sorry for thread hijack so....

FJR's were also camera bikes covering the Tour. The Tenere makes sense in this role, lousy pavement wouldn't upset it! 8)

It's the French police - the gendarmes. They use the super 10 as a police bike. I notice they use the OE luggage cases too.

The 2014 tour used lots of kawasaki GTRs this year instead of FJRs.

Personally I'm no fan of push bikes on public highways, but the whole event here in Northern UK this year was spectacular ::012::

Kawasaki used to be the official sponsoring motorcycles and the rest were Gendarmes & whatever the press or support groups were able to find.

That sucks. Yesterday he almost didn't make time. Froom is really beat up to. Crazy Tour this year.

Cant believe Talansky started the stage today. Did I see that he crashed again today before he finally pulled out?

Sagan has been amazing this year. Seems hard to believe he is +41 with all of his seconds this year and leading the points.
Goes to show how critical the mountain stages are.

Talansky did not start today. Brutal tour for him but he fought hard for his team.

Crazy weather this year. Will be interesting in the Alps!

Yesterday I rode over the Col de l'Iseran not thinking that the tour will cross today. Traffic was a PITA and caravans, campers in the US, clogged the roadway and were parked along the entire pass. Not a fun ride.

Cycling is a major sport in Europe and it's astonishing to me to see so many folks peddling up and over the high mountain passes, they have my deepest respect......... but they do, at times, create a traffic bottle neck.
