My last bike had a Kaoko throttle lock... I think I am in love with the Go Cruise. So incredibly simple and does not get in the way at all.

I love the simplicity of this thing. I'll try it on a 1,000 mile day at the end of the month and hopefully will still feel the same way.

I just used the Go Cruise on my 4,500 mile two week ride. Yes, it works as advertised, but I'll admit I like a Vista style better. Once engaged adjusting the throttle on a Vista means just tweaking the throttle. Making increased throttle adjustments with a Go Cruise means tweaking both the throttle and the Go Cruise. Not hard or difficult, but it does take slightly more effort and seemed to require a little more frequent tweaks.

I'm nit picking, but given the choice between the two styles I would pick the Vista style over the Go Cruise.

Just installed the Kaoko. Nice fit and finish and looks like it was OEM but not sure it is a better value than the Go Cruise.

I've got the Go Cruise on order from Amazon. Sounds like a simple solution.

I got a Go Cruise just before I went cruising down south. It's simple and it works. You have to be very careful that you remember to actually back off the throttle when you want to slow down. it's not intuitive to have to actually twist it the other way. But almost any throttle assist, except for a genuine cruise control, has this disadvantage I guess.

It's cheap, simple and effective. R

Here are some pics (from the Triumph Tiger install) but it's the same on the ST - I can't find my ST install pics!?!

I just came back from about a 900 mile trip with the Go Cruise and after coming from a bike with the Throttlemeister, I sure wish I had the Throttlemeister. First, my hands are a bit large and I can't GRAB the entire brake lever very well with it on. Second, it doesn't seem to hold as good as I thought it would (OEM grips are on). Third, when in the twisties with the Throttlemeister, I would turn it way back, but give me enough friction to shake my hand when I felt the need. With the Go Cruise if I want to shake my hand, I have to first set it into place.

The advantage; it isn't as costly, but the next long trip I will have a better friction lock on it. Oh, and I've tried rubber bands and the O-ring method as well, which does work, but I like to be able to turn off the friction at times.

::026:: It does work, but I also experienced all you mentioned, plus it seemed to aggravate an issue in my hand that I've been told is a carpel tunnel thing. At some point I will probably look for another solution.
