Well, time is flying by and my S10 is three years old and currently at 42,934 miles. Last year I posted this https://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?threads/second-anniversary.27819/#post-396899
First item I want to mention: stalling. I finally became convinced battery voltage was dropping too low during cranking so replaced stock battery with a YTZ14S. Cranking speed improved slightly and voltage drop during start cured. However, the bike has never stalled since. Several folks on this forum insisted my stalling problems were the battery; I believe they were correct.
Failures: headlight bulbs. And today I returned home during twilight and noticed one is burned out so will replace them again after only 6,000 miles.
The rest of the story: One oil and filter change along with rear end oil. Discovered during maintenance the kickstand bolts were loose so a little Loctite along with proper torque added. Also, discovered upper triple clamp bolt was loose, been hearing a knock on rough roads; tighten and no more knock.
Last year due to Covid and a health issue I just didn't get to ride much but hopefully 2021 will be better. On a final note, I still like the bike but beginning to wish for a lighter motorcycle. I was able to check out the new T7 Tenere, while lighter, is to tall bike plus a bit sparse on comfort items such as cruise control. The S10 is going to be hard to replace.
