So, we've complained about the Tenere paint jobs over the last couple of years being limited and not that impressive. Well, here's the Gold Wing. Look familiar? Apparently, paint has become a secondary consideration. It one thing for the Tenere to have the paint that it does, but with what a person has to pay for a 'Wing . . . . it should be better.

Just saw a new (to me anyway) Progressive motorcycle insurance commercial. Weenie boy was sitting on a Tiger and his buddy was on an African Twin. Typically stupid commercial, but at least they're using ADV bikes now.

Can't worry too much about paint on a Gold Wing. It's just going to get covered in dirt anyway.

Wonder if it's a trim level thing. Yours has the extra top box/back rest. The one in the picture looks more like an updated ST1300.

The Goldwing that DDad bought is the “Married” model…(that's why it comes with back support seat)...the “single” model comes without the back support (so that it doesn't bother the wings)……:)

Must be the premium model as it has air bags.
That's the thing...Many users complain about the engine brake, that every time I disconnect the Cruise, my partner's helmet hits mine...and they flash the ECU...and maybe it's more business to put a good pair of airbags to your partner and you solve 2 problems at the same time:)
