Not too worried about that one. She likes me happy, not bored.

One thing I've come to realize about myself. If my bike can't wheelie in 4th gear, I'm not satisfied. 5th gear would be nice, but that would just make me greedy.

Haha, I have owned a lot of Harleys and you do have to be a good mechanic if you’re going to ride them. Most of mine have been the older Harley’s and so I didn’t really have to deal with a lot of the electronics it was just a basic oversize Briggs & Stratton motor. But you can’t deny they do break down and you have to be prepared to work on them on the roadside

Between the Harleys and the Ducatis I have owned, I'd say the Ducatis have made me more of a mechanic than the Harleys ever did.
My Harleys were easy to fix, even if they could be a bit temperamental. Ducati on the other hand, expensive and much more difficult just getting to the parts that needed to be fixed, let alone actually doing the maintenance or repair.
Have I mentioned how much I love my S10 lately?

I remember watching a show where they changed the cams, and associated hardware. I was impressed how easy of a job it appeared to be. But, even with the upgrades, the H-D was down on power to my stock FJ. (and we won't even mention the handling) As good as the new H-D adventure bike might be. . . . I'm thinking that it's lost a lot of that simplicity.
