As the title reads...and other KTM Super Adventure 1290 and 1190 Adventure, etc. owners at Adv-fest in July....I bought yesterday a 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure R fully farkled. The dealio was too good to pass up on a low mileage (6042 miles) and like brand new.....Been keeping my eye out for the right dealio for a bit, and this came along. So Dirt_Dad...if you ever meet my wife......hide! I blame it on you!

I remember riding a 1090, and popping wheelies at 50 mph. Congratulations on the new bike !

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
To be honest I don't think I've ever ridden the 1190, unless that's the one CW and I rode during a demo ride years ago. Whichever bike that was, I remember it being awesome on even a short test ride.

That said, as far as shouldering the blame for anyone riding a KTM, I accept. My experience with the 1290 has been over the top spectacular. I sincerely hope the same for you. I wish you safe and amazingly satisfying riding on the new steed.

DM (and me) got a chuckle out of your post. She pointed out she should get at least some of the blame since she always says yes every time I say I want a new bike. So your wife can have two of us at which to direct her ire.
