Just wanted to give a big thanks to another great customer. Greg road his Tenere out to Fort Worth, Texas from his home town in North Carolina. Headed out to our shop for the full power package and few other goodies and a bit of maintenance. Got him taken care of and he is heading back to NC. Great guy, great customer. Thanks Greg !

Jaxon as of today 4/13/16 what is your charge for a Tenere valve check? And then subsequent add-on charge if any shim change(s) are required?

I will be needing a valve check within the next 6 months. I usually wrench myself but after recently changing plugs and seeing what is in store for me I'm researching alternatives. I don't trust any Yamaha dealer to do this service but I would trust your shop. Just need to weigh the cost/convenience trade off.

The check is about four or five hours. If the bike needs shims that's another ten hours or so. Our shop rate is half of what most other shops charge. Sure, just let me know.

Jaxon is a great guy, just watch out if you offer to buy lunch.... for a skinny guy, he sure can eat a lot.... (BBQ cost me a small fortune) ::025:: I don't know anyone who knows more about the Tenere than he does... His parts are second to none also.... ::012::
