New to the Tenere Board. Was thinking it would be nice to have a "Ride In" event. Maybe meet in Kerrville or Fredericksburg area in the fall. Who's in?
I would like to attend but already committed to a Appalachia ride in NC for those dates. That is also the same weekend as Roll The Bones.KeithE said:Thinking about October 23-25th.
Location will be YO Ranch Hotel in Kerrville TX. I will work on a group discount. Details to follow. Stay tuned.

And if you're dealing with the YO Ranch Hotel in Kerrville then the best person to contact there is Fay Faure. I've been dealing with her for years, and she is very familiar with handling motorcycle ride groups... Everything from Ducati sportbike groups to Gold Wing touring meets. She can be a terrific help with your room efforts.
Don't forget to include staples of any Texas Hill Country ride get-togethers like the Triple 3's/Twisted Sisters, the Lone Star Motorcycle Museum, the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop and Bent Rim Grill, etc., etc., etc. There are lots of members here who came to the previous Super Tenere THCR so you might also drop them a PM for ideas. Some posted various threads of their own, complete with pics, like Eemsreno's post:

IMHO, October might be a bit late for the Hill Country, and the later weekends that month will conflict with several Big Bend rides I know of that happen that time of year annually. Spring is the ideal time, especially since you catch the incredible bloom of Bluebonnets, but Fall rides can be fun, too!
Just FYI...

Camping is my preference as well.Gunner said:I'm in!
I like to camp and Kerrville has a great campground next to the river. Nice grounds, lots of shade, nice clean shower houses. A tent site is $15 and a 30 amp RV site is $23 to $26. I'll be camping there.
