No Super Tenere ordered. I didn't know of its existence and the PDP until May of this year, so I missed out on that. I still haven't pulled the trigger on taking on a cancelled order yet...still weighing my options, as color, distance, and price will be factors in my decision. I think I've still got time. I really don't know a whole heckuva lot about the ST aside from what I've read here (which is quite a bit, and thanks for sharing!), so if it's OK with y'all, I'll keep quiet and learn from the wealth of knowledge that's available here.

Who knows of a dealer who's got an extra ST coming in? If I recall correctly, there's one or two black ST's up in the DFW area, one in Texarkana, and possibly a blue one near Oklahoma City? Does that sound correct to y'all? I'm sure there will be others that dealers aren't willing to talk about at this point, or maybe some folks who haven't yet cancelled their order...or have no intention to buy after changing their mind about an order and haven't said anything?

I haven't looked much at advrider.com, ~TOBASCO~, so please pardon my ignorance...can you please explain "Make sure to drop to the bottom once an awhile to JoMamma"...?? ???

Some cool roads around the Johnson City area. Miller Creek RV Park has cabins and tent camping also. Plenty of other areas in Texas that would be as good. I think it would be great to get the Texas Tenere folks together. We could make it a family and fun thing.

We already have a trip planned with 3-4 couples hauling them out (toy boxes) , (2up) at BB November the 10th - 14th. That would be great if we could do it then but it maybe a long haul for some. It's long enough for me from Santa Fe. One day to and one from. Gives us 3 days riding. Did it October before last when the TRH DS ride was going on and was a great trip.

This is all very interesting Gents. Beans' I'm up here in Amarillo - Houston is a half continent away almost - please spare me the geography lessons.

Ordered up my Tenere at Altus Motorsports in Oklahoma for a fair price. BTW- there should be a Raven available here in Amarillo as a fellow had to cancel his order. I'll check with the dealer if anyone's interested.

I'm a lowly civil service worker so I have more time off than money.....which makes Big Bend sound appealing. Keep us posted.

Hope my bike gets here by September 2nd cuz that's when I'm leaving for my 19 day super tenere ride. I'd hate walking for 19 days.. all these farkles I've purchased will get really heavy :'(

Actually we have tentative plans to be down that way sometime before October (in the cage) to visit kids. One stop in McKinney and another in Midland.
