Very well done Wasp. Have you ridden with a pillion since modifying the shield?

I'm pretty sure Greg said once you can lay your hand on Greg's Moto muffler and not be uncomfortable at all. Very little heat transfer.

Any one have find it yet?

The carbon fiber shield is an urban leyend?
The shield on the Wasp bike is just a modified stock shield. Greg posted earlier in the thread that he just cut it down. If you want it to look like carbon fiber, just paint it after cutting it down. If you want the one that was advertised on the Italian bike, you may have to figure out how to order from an Italian Yamaha Parts retailer.

Don´t bother contacting the Yamaha Italia for the exhaust shield... It´s an urban mith ???

I wish they made a second version like the Akra one we have seen in the videos. It says Wings is making those. I had sent an email to Goran with Wings months ago to see if he was going to make an exhaust for the Tenere, looks like it may have helped!

Sorry for my ignorance..."Wings"??

Could you please give me the link of their website? Are they european?

My Remus Hexacone has just arrived and it's a crime mounting it with the OEM exhaust shield. "Handycrafting" it is my last option, and my local Yamaha dealer gave up searching the exaust shield I want..

Thanks

Ok...I've just awnsered myself by just searching decently through the forum.

Now I know that Wings is an US shop. Please ignore last post ::)
