Like the look of the unit ::008::
I currently use a car sat-nav in a waterproof holder - I know I am a skinflint, but I got a £250 car sat-nav on sale at £100, quite a bargain as a bike dedicated unit with similar features would have been £450 - I then gave it to her indoors as a present and "borrow it" when we go touring ::008::
Is this unit only capable of mounting the crazily priced bike dedicated GPS units, or could I whack my car unit holder onto it, curently I have a ram mount system bolted to the Bars so it sits just below the clocks - not bad and very cheap, but I would pay the price for this mount as long as I do not have to pay a stupid amount of cash for a "bike" sat-nav, which I refuse to do as Garmin and Tom Tom seem to think all bikers are stupid enough to pay twice as much as car drivers for essentially the same bit of kit.
