One of the things you should never do with a motorcycle or infact any thing of the powersport sort is powerwash with a power washer.
You should only use a garden hose at a low flow.
Not saying you in particular use a power washer but power washing can cause all kinds of grief as seals and switches can be damaged. Most of your controls on the motorcycle are not very water tight.
One of the things I always recommend is the use of dielectric grease, including in switches and behind dust boots when the unit is used in a very wet environment.
90% of motorcycle problems after a wash like power wash is handle bar controls getting wet.

Another update, the bike is still doing the same thing after another 500 miles. I have tried both batteries the lithium and lead acid with no change. All grounds look good. Not sure what to look for next.

If you are getting the CEL & ABS lights again, surely there must be codes recorded, so that needs revisiting through diag mode.
Please can we have the open/closed throttle readings at D:13/14/15 to see whether readings are within parameters.

Can I suggest you also bypass the side stand & clutch switch so these are eliminated - just take care when using the bike though.

BTW, I can't remember whether you have had the front brake light switch warranty job done either - can you refresh me.

I am not sure if there are any codes recorded as I have gotten to the diagnostic mode but I am not sure what any of it means. Not sure what the open/closed throttle readings are either.

Do you have a link to know what the codes stand for? My service manual does not have anything about reading codes.

I did replace the front brake switch myself before I knew it was a warranty issue.

Have you had the front brake switch recall done? This is an updated switch that was not available before it was a recall issue.
Yes I replaced it with the updated switch, the switch when bad only made the cruise control not work and it did not make the engine stop.

Search will offer up all you need - try this, where post #15 gives you a useful link: -

A while back, it was suggested that you return to the dealer & have the recall on the front BL switch undertaken by their tech - can you clarify whether this actually happened, or are we still talking about the DIY switch swap pre recall?
