I ran across this muffler shield and wondering if anyone knows the mfg. I contacted Akropovic & was told it wasn't theirs. Any ideas?

It's not made of "Italian Chrome" but it will do the job it was intended to do.
here it is on a stock BMW S1000RR exhaust pipe:
I will send an email over to my boys in the UK and see if this will fit the S10 pipe. More to follow.
WOW!!! What an extensive list of items available for the SuperT! Typical touratech fashion, they offer solutions for problems that don't exist.....fredz43 said:Here is their 2011 Tenere catalog.

Yeah - some nice stuff, but some expensive fluff too...2XADV said:Nice catalog and smart marketing on Touratech's part. Lots of cool stuff with pictures and descriptions, but no prices listed to spoil the euphoria. You get addicted to the nice stuff and then you find-out the prices!!
Prolly me too.... 8)HoebSTer said:i will still be cutting down my stock shield, adding some of the Di-Noc carbon vinyl to it, and applying some sort of aluminized heat shield deflector stuff to the back for probably less than $10. I will get the same look.
Dang, you go'in all Carbon......HoebSTer said:I just ordered myself a 48"x72" sheet of Di-Noc 3m Carbon Fiber Vinyl. shipped to my door :$162 from www.carbonfiberfilm.com Maybe I will have enough to make those silver Yamaha bags black!!!!
