What I mean is this... My wife is looking at a Hybrid Lexus that they dont have in stock.. They did but no one has them anymore. She has been doing home work and Toyota / Lexus has said it will be November before we will see them.. This was about a month ago.... She has again been reading about the situation and has come across several articles about this car and Toyota. They (Toyota-Japan) are now getting a better idea on the situation and what they where predicting to be November is getting closer to "several months" sooner than November... Take "several" for what you will, but I would think two or maybe three sooner........ I think both car and bike are waiting for electrics from the North of JPN...

Could ALLLLLLLLLL be BS..... but one more thing to talk about while where waiting....... LOL ;D

it makes some sense!!! When I hear of this, I think about the "Pride" the Japanese people have towards making things. It is a personal injustice if they say or do one thing and can't deliver, regardless of bikes, cars or electronics. They want to do it right the first time. Of course we truely know and understand the damn quake and tsunami caused devastating destruction, but i think there are people there who are still taking this "blame" all on their own since they can't deliver product.
My heart goes out to them for sure!!! i sure wish there was more of this here in the states!!! I am not starting a thread or anything with this statement.

Toyota and YAMAHA have a lot more in common than most know about. Toyota holds a lot of YAMAHA stock.

Yamaha builds some of Toyota's engines. They've also designed and built engines for Ford, Pontiac, Volvo and Lotus.

IIRC, Yamaha did the engine for the original Ford SHO.

Yes they did!
Thanks for confirming. I'm not sure who does the engine for the current SHO - probably all Ford now.

That's because Yamaha is Toyota's tech/performance design department. Goes way back to a performance car of the 60's. Yamaha has designed stuff for a lot of groups; the original Ford Taurus SHO had a Yamaha engine in it.

And mine is the next day....great minds think alike and fools seldom differ.

We can be either the three stooges; this, that and the other thing; or the ghastly trio.

You pick and I'll go along....
