No...... Looks cool, really light, comes with turn down stinger, carbon can-carbon end caps. IMOP sounds great.

That bent end piece that comes with S10 specific slip-on to prevent frying signals and side cases.

Ok, you don't have to use that.. The can comes with 3 baffles. Only one is the turn down, the other two are flush with the end of the can and one has fine screen welded for a spark arrestor.

The can comes with a spacer to move the end far enough away from the fender to eliminate a burned fender.

In defense of the turn down tip, it does allow you to move the can in closer to the bike, and then you can bring case mounts in closer by removing the heat shield.

I see. Thanks for the explanation. Well, the price was tempting, but after thinking the whole thing through I still live in very close proximity to my neighbors in a country where silence is pretty important. I gather that this pipe is 'not much louder than stock,' but also am pretty sure the Akra is quieter.... so I think it's best to bite the bullet.
