Okay. Here is what I found.
To fix the stumble, back both airscrews out three quarters of a turn, both painted and unpainted one.
Then sync. This is what they did and it fixed the issue.

He also told me how to access the CO adjustment in diagnostic mode.
He said to ground the green wire coming out of the tipover sensor.
Then go into diag mode. Bump each cylinder up a max of 7 pts at a time and try it.

That didn't take long to unlock the mysterious CO diagnostic mode mod. Great detective work. ::012:: ::012::
