Hey all,
I was chatting with tntmo over on another thread and the idea of a San Diego S10 meetup/RTE came up. I'm available most weekends (barring a work emergency). San Diego is a big area (if you include all the eastern areas). I was thinking it might be nice to do a loop up to Julian for pie or something like that. Also, totally up for meeting in a more urban setting to just hang and swap riding lies.....er..."tales"....check out bike mods and farkles, etc.
I live down in the Chula Vista (Eastlake) area.
My usual weekend loop destinations are Barrett junction or Julian for breakfast, out old HWY80 to Ocotillo Springs, sunrise HWY, lookout roadhouse off ortega highway (my brother lives in anaheim and just got a 2012 Super Tenere). Loops out to the San Bernardino mountains (Crestline, Arrowhead, Big Bear) are also on the menu when I feel like spending a whole day out.
Thoughts about locations and times?
Anyone interested?
