Things get a bit top and rear heavy and i find steering gets twitchy.im better but still to much stuff I think on my bike.... but its in the boxes now..... if one visualizes a giant duffle bag strapped across the back of the bike , well that was my first time.
What "roof racks" did you add, I'm looking to modify my OEM panniers and looking for ideas.... Thanks in advanceThe bags are Micatech V2 bags. The left one is 8" (37 litres) and the right one is 10" (45 litres). I added the "roof racks" as well which allow items to be strapped to the top of the panniers.
I have an older version of the Eureka Apex 2XT tent http://store.eurekatent.com/apex-2xt. I carry the tent, foot print, tools and extra gear (rain pants, gloves) in the 8" pannier. My moto-camp trips do not include cooking. I hit up restaurants for breakfast and dinner and carry a snacks/ drinks for rest stops.
The top box is a 1550 Pelican case. It has 12V plugs inside for charging on the fly as well as a supplemental running/ brake light on the back. I also have rings mounted on the top to strap more crap on if necessary.
What's attachments did you use for the OEM hard panniers? This was my setup for 20 days 8200 mile trip I came back from aweek ago.
I have no idea how to rotate them on iPad. Sorry

Oh just besides the clothes, thermos, first aid kit and obvious things, there's just a lot of things I don't recognize so I was wondering if you had a list that's all.I have an Excel spreadsheet ;-)
(Seriously). Looking for something particular or just my packing list?
What duffel is that and what size?My new camping setup. Good for a few days. Soooo much lighter than when i had the panniers on my gen 1.
Dririder Explorer Tail Pack 115lt.What duffel is that and what size?
That's a lot of litres. It's a great fit. How sturdy / floppy do you think those 'wing' bags would be if the bag were moved back to the luggage rack? Would they need support? Thanks!Dririder Explorer Tail Pack 115lt.

I dont thinking its really 115lts. More like 60. Haven't tried it on the rack but probably ok. Have a read of reviews on adventure rider forum etc. People love them and using for years. That's a lot of litres. It's a great fit.
