You know, it's weird... But given all the discussion about delivery dates, how many orders has Yamaha taken, how many USA S-10's will be produced, etc., something just doesn't add up.
For instance, if you look at the first page of this thread - where the list of order numbers, order dates, etc. are shown - you will see that as of today (03/08/11) the last order number shown is 178728, and the first order number is 155951. Now it doesn't take a mathematical genius to do a simple calculation...
178728 - 155951 = 22,777
Now we all know that there is simply no possible way Yamaha has taken orders for over 22,000 Super Tenere's in North America, so what is the rhyme or reason behind the PDP order numbering system? :question:
Doesn't make much, if any sense, now does it?
