After eight weeks putting it off I finally did it ordered a black S10. Traded the 05 wee, the list price up in Canada is $16,500msp. Out the door with $4,000 for the wee $12635, delivery in June. Thanks for all the information guys..

I'm sure it's been stated somewhere in this forum but I don't have anything with an order number on it. I have received all three letters from Yamaha and have my receipt from the dealer, etc. So where is the official list with the order number on it, at my dealer I assume?

I had to get the order number from my dealer which he looked up on his computer. The letters are pretty generic and contain no specifics so far.

That would be really cool if that order # is correct. It would mean that you're getting a bike that someone else backed out on. Hope that's the case.

Or, it could be a bike that the dealer pre-ordered in someone else's name in order to have some for the floor. Several dealers have done that and if someone comes in to order one now, they get an early number and the dealer can order another for stock.

I ordered my S10 from Van's Yamaha, Sparta, Il on 02-21-11.....I'm out of town but will check next week for a confirmation/order number next weeK.................................IMPACT BLUE will be the color. Just like Fredz43!!
