Saw some talk here about a Sargent seat for the S10. Any news???
Hey LOOK! It's Mary and Kevin from Sargent! ::004::Twitch said:Sargent's R&D Department up in Jax just got their first look at the motorcycle (mine) this last Tuesday. We’ll probably get updates on their plans and progress, but in the mean time their lead person (mary@sargent) is a member here. Perhaps she'd respond to a pm.

and a ride report too!!!!!fredz43 said:I got my OEM seat that Sargent modified back a couple days ago. I'll take some pics tomorrow and upload.
So far I only rode it 10 miles home from the dealer, but will try to put some miles on it tomorrow, Rod and then post a report and pics.ColoRider said:and a ride report too!!!!!

Awesome! I see this seat in my future.SpeedStar said:Yeah, the Renazco is mine. I contacted James months ago and he has my extra seat at his place now. Hopefully he can start it soon. I will keep you updated on the progress.
As I mentioned in my first post on this seat, I wasn't sure if I would get used to the slight rise or ridge in front. The normal seating position seemed to put me back a bit farther than I was used to. When I contacted Sargent about this, they asked me to send pics of me sitting on my bike with their seat and then sitting on my modified (short rear bumpers) OEM seat. Those pics showed that with the Sargent I was sitting back a bit farther than with my leveled OEM seat. Since I prefer to sit close to the tank, this showed me why I wasn't quite satisfied with their modified seat. The farther back seating position also caused me a bit more forward lean and I had already added bar risers to try to alleviate that with the OEM seat.ColoRider said:Fred, the new saddle looks impressive! It looks much wider towards the rear which should be a huge improvement over stock.
Anxious to hear how it works out on longer rides.
