Any one heading t Romney WV next week the 17th and 18th for the demos? Think I'll hop on the old thumper and head north on the Blue Ridge Parkway and take another spin on the Tenere.
It's good enough that I'm riding a KLR five hundred and thirty six mile to tide a second timeBuckeye56 said:OK so say I just "happen" to have a case of blue flu, what time do they open on Friday? The answer is no but damn I am really jonesin to see what the ST is all about!
Boogie down to Parkersburg, WV after work...3 hrs done. Camp @ North Bend State Park just off 50. Ride Rt 50 over to Romney the next morning...2nd 3 hours done.Buckeye56 said:Thanks! Trouble is I am almost 6 hours away. I ain't leaving C-bus at 3 am to be at Romney's at 9 so I would have to decide how lucky I felt if I got there round Noon. Well it is fun to fantasize, no?
I'll be camped on the front step just to be first. God what's happened to me, I've become the Black Friday shopper that I've ridiculed in the past. Worse yet there isn't anything in the store to purchase at this point. )Dirt_Dad said:So it appears I was not the only creative soul who thought I'd beat the Saturday crowd and be there first thing Friday morning. Damn, I really thought I was smart with that one. Now it looks like there will be a pretty good line for the S10 at that time. I'm still planning to show up on Friday morning, but maybe not right when they open.
I'll be on the red Strom.
Yep right up to the wheels falling off at work this afternoon. :-( hope the folks who do go have good weather and enjoy their test rides!spklbuk said:Boogie down to Parkersburg, WV after work...3 hrs done. Sound doable
Only 90 minutes away for me. That's a lot better than the 5 hours I had to ride my wife's new Spyder to get it home a couple of weeks ago. Guess I'm willing to ride for the right deal. Glad the S10 was so close to home.HoebSTer said:oh you guys have it bad, having to ride 6 hours to ride a Tenere. We don't even get a demo in the state.
Quit you're whining, it's only a six hour ride for you as well. Plane ride that is.HoebSTer said:oh you guys have it bad, having to ride 6 hours to ride a Tenere. We don't even get a demo in the state.
