Muncho Lake yesterday.

It's gnarly up through there (think it was called Stone Mountain). High winds, crap all over the road from gravel to bolders, weird off-camber sweepers, snow...did I mention wind?

And if you survive that, then they throw the herds of buffalo on the roads to dodge.

I know what you mean about the wind. It was gusting over 50 mph / 80 kpm yesterday as we headed toward Grand Prairie. Arrived in Ft Nelson tonight. Today was an awesome ride. 26 c from Dawson Creek to Ft Nelson and wall to wall sunshine. Just a few clouds to make the sky interesting. Lots of bikes on the way to Alaska, mostly BMW's and KKLR's but no sign of another S10 - yet!

We've seen Elk, Coyote, Moose and Bear so far. We'll be looking out for Bison near Muncho Lake tomorrow.

Good luck to all and see you in Whitehorse.

Thx for the offer. Coffee sounds good right about now, but I'm heading over to Yukon Yamaha this morning to get some tires and the oil changed. Raining today. I guess I beat it coming in. :)

I saw Dave on his blue S10 in Beaverlodge...then I'm pretty sure I crossed a raven, 30 miles south of Whitehorse yesterday, mid-afternoon, heading south, two up.
