There seems to be some conflicting information on this thread. Mercurydog47 reported back in January that Rekluse was working on one for the S10. Others have said they are not. Anybody have an update? I've sent them an email and am waiting for a reply. Everything I've read about Rekluse leads me to think I want/need one. With my limited skillset, anything that makes riding the bike easier is worth looking at.

Any update on Rekluse? My Africa Twin DCT spoiled me on my long city commute with a zillion traffic lights.

I spoke with them at the EICMA show in Columbus, Ohio, and they said the Tenere project had been put on a back burner due to putting their people on bigger projects. Rekluse has a pretty small staff, so I took that to mean that when they looked at which bikes would have potential sales, they could sell more to other models than to us and that's where they assign their few people.

Recluse put alot of their efforts over the last 2 years into producing the new MV Terismo Veloce 800 SCS

When I spoke with them, they were talking about new KTMs and Hondas.

I have an email string going back 5 years now with a couple of their engineers. Lot of empty talk and not a lot of action.

That's a shame. The S10 may not sell in huge numbers over a short period, but it's a steady seller, there are a lot of owners out there and given the demographics they'd probably sell a good number of kits. The main FB group is huge and very active. Much more so than the AT groups I was in.

An old thread. The other longtimers out there, didn't Ellizilla have a Recluse on her side car Ténéré?

I’ve had a cr500 with an auto clutch for 23 years. Love it. 2 drawbacks. Can’t bump start it and it’ll roll backwards on a stall out on a hill. BAD news on a steep hill. Found out you gotta dump it over quick on a stall
