Another Super Tenere owner and I are trying to future out what the open port underneath the left switch column is? There is a rubber lead with an open hole that appears for a wiring harness - maybe a European option? See attached picture and let me know your best guess!

Factory heated grips? That's what I used that area for in running my aftermarket heated grip wiring.

I posted a pic of this at the end of July, 2011, when I set up 5 new Super Tenere's, including mine and couldn't figure out why it was there. We never did figure it out on the forum at that time.

It's a common switch block used in a lot of different models and that "port" is for the Manual Choke cable...
