Just noticed Yamaha is showing the price of the Tennere to be $14,500,inflation?
Tenere. And yet if you click on the specs link, it still shows $13,900. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelspecs/651/0/specs.aspxjly51 said:Just noticed Yamaha is showing the price of the Tennere to be $14,500,inflation?

Yep, from what I've seen, changes on the spec page have always been delayed. Main page shows $14,500.Kidder said:Tenere. And yet if you click on the specs link, it still shows $13,900. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelspecs/651/0/specs.aspx

That is just kewl! wide-spread acceptance bodes well for survival of the species. This is the darndest bike I've ever owned...and I mean that in a good way.SpeedStar said:I am just really happy that it looks like it will be off of PDP and a regular item. Way to go Yamaha! ::022::
I agree. Having this bike available "on the floor" and for immediate order/delivery is the best thing that can happen. There are folks out there that will not order site unseen. Besides, everybody likes immediate gratification. Sometime next Spring I hope to either watch the Tiger ride away with a new owner on top, or ride in to the dealer on it and out on a Tenere. Less to worry about when you're not waiting months for the order to arrive.Tremor38 said:That is just kewl! wide-spread acceptance bodes well for survival of the species. It is no longer on the PDP. I had a whopping 2 bikes allocated to me one in September and one in March! From what I understand, we sold more S10's than any other dealer. I am guessing that they have allocated the bikes that were either cancelled or the remaining units that YMUS had to commit to purchase from Yamaha Motor Japan from the original release. I have not spoken with any other dealers to see what they were allocated, but I imagine there are a lot of dealers that were not allocated any at all. Pretty dissapointing............markjenn said:I doubt this change in price, in and off itself, indicates "off PDP". We'll probably know by EOD.
