Reading comprehension is a skill. I fully agree, who cares how many times someone asks a question? New people always come on board and have questions.
Questions, are excellent. Replies to questions that have been answered long ago are not. That's just someone that's simply not paying attention.
Teaching people to pay attention by looking at the dates is a good thing. Teaching people to use the search tools is great too, but not everyone has those skills and sometimes they just want the answer w/o having to look for themselves. I rarely have issue with that, someone can often just help them with the answer, sometimes even me.
None of the new posts in this thread asked a useful question. They were trying to be helpful to the OP, who long ago got all the answers he needed.
Oh, and that guy you may have liked, didn't leave, he just doesn't have the stones to post any more. He PMs people complaining that he was referred to in ways he didn't care for.
Responded to an old post is like just getting the punchline to a joke told a month ago. It's cool that it makes you happy, but sort of odd to everyone else that's moved on.
But hey, that's just my opinion.
