Looking at changing the pegs on my bike, I have had Fastway pegs on 3 previous bikes and have been well impressed especially in the slightly lowered position, but have often looked at Pivot Pegz offering which look and are reportedly pretty good as well. Any one have experience of both or any relative opinions over stock for either?

I have Fastway F5 pegs on my S10, and like them very much - transplanted from my 800 GS. I had Pivot Pegz on my KLR, and never really cared for them. The Fastways in the slightly lower position are comfortable, and the shape/size are great for longer periods standing on the pegs.

Best,

Chris

I've had Pivot Pegs for over a year and love them. Go with the larger size pegs they offer you won't be sorry.

I'm using the pivot and like them.. They did take a little getting use to. Now with my Moto-X Rambo boots they feel even better to shift and brake......

I put Pivot Pegz on my two GSs, but the S10's stock footpegs are working great for me. Wish the seat was as good...

Pivot Pegz on my bike, still stock on my wife's bike. I routinely switch between the two pegs. Stock are bad for standing. Pivot Pegz definitely better than stock, but I don't necessarily love them. Pretty neutral about the pivot movement. Doesn't bother me, doesn't impress me. Think I'd be happy with either choice.

Re: the Fastways, what is the difference between their F3 and Adventure pegs for the Super T? Other than the $100.00 price...

The advantage of this is revealed in steep ascents or descents as well as reduced fatigue with lots of shifting, off road especially, as you have greater contact with the peg.

Does anyone have any pictures of these next to a stock peg, I can't visualize how much bigger they might be.

Thanks,
Lynn

Everywhere I go, I get wisecracks about my pegs.
Showed up at a Yamaha Demo day and the Yamaha guys all took pictures of them.
(Accompanied by grins and disbelief)

I love em. Can't remember who made them for me. I thing in Nevada?
Another inmate here got em first and I went nuts and begged for info. Called the place that made them and a sweet old lady said if 5 of us ordered them, she would have them made. I sent money immediately and said no hurry.

A month later she called and said that only 1 other had wanted them. But that they decided to make them anyways.

They are awesome! Best standing peg I have ever had. And they pivot up effortlessly.

They are made by Thunder MFG in Phoenix Az. http://www.thundermfg.com/store/ 623-869-7152. + 1 on EX EX L foot pegs.
Nchristi, you are the guy, right? The first fella that got them here?
I know I thanked you before. But I triple thank you now. :)

I bought them thinking they would be great for standing. And they are. Fantastic.
But I am spoiled with the sitting performance just as much. Similar to floorboards, I suppose, they accommodate multiple boot positions on long rides.

I have the fast way adventure and am not disappointed .
Myself included. i have fastway f3 on my wr250r, and really like them, but was intrigued by the adventure pegs. the cost held me off until i got the ST. when i recieved then, i saw why they cost twice as much as the f5's. they are twice as big! I love them on the super tenere! i have no experience with the pivot pegs.
