Pinlock anti fog

I run a clear one in my RF-1100. I love it. Never fogs on cold morning commutes. I wish they made a tinted one in this size.

I run a clear and tinted on my Multitec. I hate the helmet. The clear insert works great. I find the tinted one is too far from the edges and is really distracting.

I had a pinlock in a Nolan modular....hated it.

top edge was in peripheral view (was on sportbike with much more forward lean than an upright S10).

moisture and dust could sometimes get in between making it harder to clean and the top edge abraded the outside shield so even after I removed it I was left with a scratched line.

After a couple replacements, I ended up leaving it out for good.

Ok I was just about to order from Amazon.com and they want $50 for shipping. Any one know where I can order without getting ripped off.
Thanks.
If you didn't find one already, try Revzilla.com They carry a pinlock shield for most brand Helmets, have good prices (and will price match) and shipping is crazy fast.

I have a Pinlock shield on my Arai Rx-Q and, well, it kind of sucks. I still fogs somewhat and the clarity is horrible. I have a OE Pinlock on my Nolan N-102 Helmet also and it is 100% better that the Arai - as Taylor Swift says - it Never, Ever, Never, gets fogged and the clarity of the lenses is the best I have even had on a Helmet.

I told the guys at Revzilla (where I buy my gear) about this and they said you can micro-adjust the gap between the Pinlock lenses and the outer shield which I have not tried yet, but even so I don't think that will help with the lack of optic clarity.

I've a the new style pinlock on my shoei GT-Air lid it has a far more comprehensive coverage of the visor than the old versions and is unnoticeable in use. Not sure if this is only available on new model shoei's but it could be the just the excuse you need for a new lid :). PS theres more than a grain of truth in that last tongue in cheek comment as if I was to replace a visor on my hornet or XR1100 and to get a new pinlock for it would be a fair few pounds (cash) needed to do so here in blighty which I factored into my man maths when justifying the GT-Air costs :)

I have a new Aria and just bought a pin lock shield with the dark shield attachment for it. I wasted my money. The plastic shield and pin lock tinted attachment are so soft that they got micro scratched while trying to assemble them on a soft cloth before they ever got on the helmet, making them unusable in my opinion. If they came from the factory already assembled, maybe they would be OK.

I am running the Pinlock on a NeoTech, works great in the rain. But I did get a bunch of dust up under it the other day on a gravel run. Cleaned up ok and will see what happens on the next blast around. ::26::

My Aria came with a PinLock. Biggest bitch about the Pinlock is "GLARE". Yes they are soft and they will get dust and moist between the shield and itself but the glare and reduced light really bothers me.
