My Shoei MultiTec and Shoei RF1000 both use the same shield and I use a pinlock shield in them, works great.

Just relegated my Hornet DS to off-road only and I'm with you on it's fogging problem. Although it's been my favorite for years, it does fog terribly as you said. Not so long ago I read a post from a Hornet user that said pinlock was just "OK" in that lid. Currently using it in a Shoei Neotec and it's a really nice improvement.

I would never use a helmet without pinlock. Once you've had it you can't do without! :)

I use a tinted one in my Tour X .... works well. I've had to remove it a couple of times to clean beneath it though. I think it's the shape of the visor that causes the seal to occassionaly lift. It may only happen to me but if not it could happen on the Hornet as the visor is a similar shape. I should add that it doesn't happen on any of my other Arais.

Yes used one with the hornet, works well but i find the pinlock edges sit in my line of vision when i dip my head as it's quite a bit smaller than the pinlocks used in other helmets and sits quite a way from the edge of the visor.

You won't regret it.
I bought a NeoTech last year and got caught in the rain for about 200 miles. While waiting at a light in pouring rain I took a breath and exhaled on the sheild on purpose. The thing fogged right up. Two seconds latter the fog was gone. Just a fun test and that is the only time it has ever fogged up on me.

Pinlock and installed sun visor is the greatest.

I use the Race version pinlock for a XrR1000 visor in my Hornet. It has a higher top end that gives more coverage of my line of sight when head is dipped , I also chose an orange tint though I wouldn't recommend using that in hours of darkness.

Ok I was just about to order from Amazon.com and they want $50 for shipping. Any one know where I can order without getting ripped off.
Thanks.

Go to your local dealer and as a good customer nicely ask them to price match. I normally get 20% at my dealer and have negotiated better.
