Have any of you had a problem with the purchase at Partzilla? I ordered a part that is available in the online store immediately, with delivery within 24 hours. After paying, I have the shipping promised on March 17th. This is a f***ing joke.

Yep. Absolutely terrible. Maybe its holidays or covid. I ordered a MC kit in december. First one was stolen by UPS driver i believe. Replacement took about 3 weeks to leave USA and im still waiting for it. Mine is international though.

My delivery address is my friend's house in the USA, Arizona.
It is not fair to say that it is in stock - and yet it is not.

They should of at least offered a refund so you could try to source elsewhere.
Same thing happened when i was buying boots from revzilla. Said it was in stock and then a few days later they emailed saying they screwed up and they gave a refund.

Yep, had problems with partzilla when I ordered the same part as you. The part was defective and they were so unhelpful in resolving the situation. No attempt whatsoever to find a solution, only wanted to defend and argue. At one point they told me that the Super Tenere wasn’t available in the US.

A company I won’t be doing business with again, nor recommend. However, I do hope your issue is resolved quickly.

BTW, do you have an installation guide for the basket? If not, I can send you a link to one.

I'm assuming that you paid by credit card. Have you called them to cancel the order, and put the charge back on your card? Unless of course you're going to stay with them to get the part. I'm the kind of person that after you screw me over like that, I won't buy anything from you. And will actually pay more just to not do business with a crappy company.

My service from Partzilla has been ok , they used to have decent prices but the last few years their prices have been the same as buying from a local dealer So that’s what I prefer to do.
www.mrcycles.com is Usually cheaper.

Never had any issues with Partzilla, but they’re caught up in the supply chain issues like everyone else. It took me over a month to receive my headset bearings.

Rocky Mountain ATV has been my go-to source for OEM parts for years now. One of their best qualities is that, if I call them, I can actually get a real live person on the phone. Their website will tell you if a part is out of stock or on backorder, and I've never had any personal experiences with that information being inaccurate. I've ordered from them during the pandemic supply issues, and didn't have any problems.

Don't know how they are about shipping to overseas addresses though.

I tried ordering a low seat from partzilla, it showed its available and would ship in 2-3 days. Now on my order history it shows backordered with no ETA available. But if you go back to the product page it still shows available to ship in 2-3 days. It would be nice if they at least put that it would have to be backordered before you purchase it.

I have also defaulted to using only Rocky Mountain ATV OEM. I used to use a few different places, especially if I was making a large order because prices were significantly different between sites. Now I just get everything from them, never had any issues. If part of your order is in stock, they will usually send that first and anything else will be shipped later. Shipping is cheap if under $75 and free after that.

I have used Partzilla for several things and mostly had really good dealings with them. I did have a couple items that showed in stock then they said it would be a wait. They gave me a delivery date way out like they did to Synk. After a week or so i got another email that gave a much more acceptable delivery. Hope yours turns out like that. I may be wrong on this but i am willing to bet the way things work is the middle men like Partzilla and Cyclegear and Revzilla or Rocky Mountain ATV are just showing you what their suppliers are showing them. I know they stock a lot of things but mostly they just order it when you order it so they don't even know it is unavailable. Recently i was looking for some gear and noticed that Cycle gear and Revzilla had the exact same scratch and dent and open box helmets at a reduced price. Same helmets same color same blemish same size same price. there is no way that is going to happen unless they are just advertising the same info from a supplier they both use. Any way back to Partzilla. I did get a bit of delay on a couple of parts but they shortened the delivery time by weeks for me. I have gotten a lot of stuff through them. All the orders have been right and deliver has been good.

I ordered a pair of the S10 wind deflectors from Partzilla. They took a while to arrive and they sent followup emails for each delay. Also ordered an oil filter and crush washers and those took several days to actually ship, although they were marked 'in stock'. I would order OEM parts from them again if I wasn't in a hurry. My alternative is to go to the dealer an hour away and risk not having an item in stock, and then have to return at a later time to pick up an order.

I have used Partzilla numerous other times without any issue. For my experience, it wouldn't stop me from ordering from them again. Hopefully they get the parts back in stock soon.

Revzilla’s parent company Comoto Holdings also owns both Cycle Gear and J&P Cycles.

This is the disclaimer that appears on Rocky Mountain's website regarding OEM parts. They do carry parts on hand at their warehouse, so they aren't strictly a middleman. And it's not just things like brake pads: when I ordered parts for my recent valve check, they had things like the crankcase cover gasket in stock and available. Even the cam chain tensioner was an in-stock item. They must have a pretty extensive in-house inventory, if they carry parts like that for a bike that isn't all that common. If you look on their website for the cam chain, you can see which items are stock and which ones have to be ordered (the cam chain itself is one item that, at least currently, they have to order). I've always found that those indicators (the "in stock" vs "5-7 business days") to be accurate.

I don't want to seem like I'm shilling for RMATV; I have no connection with them at all. But I definitely appreciate good customer service.

I ordered 4 rubber shifter covers for the S10 and received 4 shifter covers that barely resembled what I ordered. They were considerably larger in every dimension, yet labeled with the correct part number. When contacted, they told me that was "as close as they could come to my request". When asking for an RA, they told me I received the properly labeled item and would be charged a restocking fee. Nice bait and switch for what they did happen to have. I'll walk before I give them another dime. Gotta love covid and its fallout.

I'm with you. They've been pretty much stellar with every purchase I've made over the years.
