No sweat Kmac and indeed both products started with the idea of fighting corrosion. It's amazing what people think WD-40 is capable of and I just didn't want the myth perpetuated. Sorta like how medicine was once all about where to place leeches for best effect, fortunately society has moved on and found a better idea.

I'll let the Canadians and Brits take up whether there is a difference in the nationality bit.

I'm glad someone chimed in on the issues of using WD40, it has it's uses around the workshop but it ruins bearings and strips grease too easily for me to ever want to use it on my bike.

The Muc off arrived at the weekend so gave my bike it's first wash, just awaiting the grease and corrosion protection before I get too deep into it.

Here are a couple of pics, apologies but they were taken late in the day on my phone.

Hi

Muck off is good stuff but just a word of caution do not leave it on to long before you wash is off, I have heard that it can damage the finish of some materials

Regards

There are lots of tales of muck off tarnishing plastics, painted surfaces, and alloy. I wouldn't buy a bike if the owner confirmed they had washed it with muck off.
SDOC100 is good at degreasing .
