T-Rex Racing Skid-Plate extends up the front of the engine to protect the Exhaust headers.
It has openings in the side to access both drain-plugs, and also a "Trap-Door" to change the oil filter without removing the Plate.
I don't use a fender-extender, and I'm still the best Hugger I know................
Crash-Bars:
I Have the OEM Yamaha lower Bars, combined with the Rumbux add-on upper Bars.
Protects the bike extremely well! I've tested them with numerous tip-overs..............no damage whatsoever to the bike or bodywork.
The downside is the Rumbux bars are out of production.
I can still completely remove the right side body panel to access the electrics, and I can move the left side panel enough to access the top of the radiator without removing the bars.
For my GPS Mount, I am just using the basic RAM ball mounted to the "Navigation Bar" on the factory windscreen bracket.
I currently have my Garmin Zumo-XT mounted to it, and it is really solid. Does not move at all.
Can easily read it while sitting or standing.
