I'm seeking any advice I can get. I've been up and down this forum, reading everything I can. I'm in the market to purchase my first motorcycle. I have my motorcycle license, through the MSF course, 32 years old, 6'3", 275 lbs... so a little starter bike isn't gonna do it for me. I figure buy once, cry once...I don't want to buy a little bike only to be disappointed 6 months from now and have to do it all over again. I want to go the adventure bike route because upright comfortable seating position and I can armor it up with crash bars for when I drop it.
I've been back and forth with a dealer, for a new 2016 ES for $11.5k. They want to tack on $1.5k in dealer admin fees......wtf. The out the door price is $14,200. Does that sound like I'd be getting ripped off with those admin fees? Kinda feels like dealer advertises low price to bring people in then tries to get you with the fees.
