Caught upwith my mate today.. Him and a buddy took their beamers up to the dealer,( after there trip to the centre of Aus) 750km away for servicing.. he had a fuel level sensor go I think, but told me they have to ship it from Germany, which could take up to 3 weeks. He is also due for a service, I asked him what he could be expected to pay,he wasn't sure, but said, "you just wear it". He has had a good run out of his GSA, and is very happy with it..
I guess, they are all bikes, made by ::26::mostly,people..

There it is... I bought my very own S10!!!! Im excited. I wont see the bike until the 7 th of aug. I regret that I never rode one, or even heard one idling.... This bike also happens to be my very first 1200cc. After much research, late nights and a sore neck, this is what I come to. I have no idea what to expect. I know I enjoy this forum and that there is endless info on here about these bikes. I wont get to see it for another 18 days. I decided to get it shipped across Australia from Syd to Perth

Lots to orginise, license and so on.
I just cannot wait to see it... Ill have a 700km run home with it, after I got to see it. Going on holidays first before I go back to grab it. Also a 180km gravel road to do on the way home. That wont be till end Aug.

Europe .... Made in Texas
Yo Rudy. You're in Wasps neck of the woods .... he'll kit you out with some interesting stuff and get you pointed in the right direction. I've spent time in Perth .... we anchored off Fremantle then came ashore to play with the locals. Blag our way to Perth. We'd drink in the Palace and the Foxy Lady until the shore patrol found us and escorted us back to the sanctuary of the fleet :)

Picked up my S10 yesterday. Had to brake it out of a Harley crate? They packed it for the dealer I bought it off. Got it out and she started first go. I had the keys mailed to me, so already had that. Took it up to my brother in laws place in Perth hills, and does this bike climb hills! It feels so fresh and smooth.
Switched to sport mode and realy noticed the difference. Unfortunately the guy before me dopped it...on its right. It has very little damage though. Today I want to take the wife out for our anniversary, but its raining cats and dogs... Brought my parrabellum up with me, Doesnt just fit on there either, but Ill fix that.
Will see Michael today at motoradgarage, and get some crashbars, maybe a skid plate..

Hopefully this works. Anyway, didnt take long to go from new to a S10 owner! If these photos load..., this is the wife and I on our first official outing in Perth suburbs and Swan valley. After a day of riding with stock handle bars, I had to do someting, so I went with inch up and 22mm back risers, and what a difference that made..
Further more:
Parrabellum 26'
Bags connection GS tankbag. (compliments the bike)
Motech crashbars
1' raising links
Traxx panniers.
Got the Gps mount, but have not fitted it yet.
Waiting for a screen bracket for adjustment.
I noticed the traxx panniers leaves little room for the pillions feet. Also I would like to shift the pegs down, then forward. Dont know how Ill do that yet.. I can say, I love the bike, I like how you can tour, and imagine a steet bike in sport!
This is my first 1200, and I read on reviews that the S 10 is sluggish... I dont know.. If you consider the weight, I feel it goes.. I realise its not a Multistrada. Its about comfort, control, I even catch people staring, which I had alot on the 660 tenere. I like the vibration free low revs / torque.
This bike could just be The bike..
I will certainly remember my FIRST 1200!

For you and the misses, it rides great two up... I also checked out the GS, Explorer and S10 before making my decision. I have never regreted it... It is a fantastic bike! If it doesn't come with it, for the price you can add it and still have money left in your pocketbook to take your wife out. ::021::
